SUMMARY
As a master student in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design at UC Berkeley, I am proficient at CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA and AutoCAD. I am familiar with manufacturing methods, material properties, GD&T, quality control and thermodynamics.
Take a look at what I've done and how I prepared myself for future career development.
EXPERIENCE & PROJECTS

Design of A Spur Gear Gearbox
10/2016-02/2017
Started by theoretical calculation, stress/strain verification for gear tooth, shafts and bearings, I designed and drafted every part of this gearbox in SolidWorks, including 4 spur gears, 4 keys, 3 shafts with selected bearing at both ends and the gearbox enclosure.  After successfully building all parts, I drafted GD&T drawing for shafts and keys and assembled the gearbox.

Dynamic Performance Analysis of Epicyclic Gear Driver
12/2015-09/2016
I worked as a research assistant in the Professor Ying Xi's lab to work on the dynamic performance analysis of Nabtesco RV 40E. Â I built and assembled the gearbox model using CATIA, then simulated the working conditions in ADAMS. Â I analyzed the component speed, contact force and vibration based on the simulation data under different circumstances and proposed solutions for performance improvement.

CNC Manufacturing Process Design
05/2016-07/2016
In this project, a part of complex shape was first built using CATIA and proper manufacturing method was designed for it. I select 3-axis milling machine with 4 types of end mill, replace pin+claming support with screw-through-hole support, which eliminated potential damage to the finished surface and improved efficiency.
